Japanese Calligraphy

Learn and experience Japanese Shodo!

Do you know what Japanese Shodo is? Shodo is the traditional art of Japanese calligraphy. Even today, it is taught as part of Japan's national language classes from elementary to middle school.

When creating Shodo, the Japanese language is written on thin paper called hanshi with an ink brush called a fude.

There is a saying in Japan, “You can see what kind of person someone is through their calligraphy.” What will your Shodo masterpiece look like?

Come experience this beautiful piece of Japanese culture for yourself!
